Wild Flowers
Wildflowers are usually found in the forest, but they need strategies that are not very usual to survive in the heavily shaded forest. These wildflowers bloom in early spring, before the big trees have grown their leafs. The Dutchman's Breeches (left) is an example of a wildflower. Other wildflower plants include the Yukon, Alpine, and Sudbury Wildflower.
